Some people spend years figuring out what they want to be when they grow up, but for Natalia, the answer was clear from the start. “As a child, I always said I wanted to be an accountant,” she shares with a smile. Inspired by her grandmother, who worked as an accountant all her life, Natalia spent summers pretending to hand out salaries with fake money, filling out paperwork, and typing away on a calculator. “It was so much fun, and I knew early on that this was my destiny.”
Fast forward to today, Natalia has been part of the 4-Vision team since May 2022, turning her childhood dream into a fulfilling career.
A Supportive Environment and Memorable Moments
Reflecting on nearly three years at 4-Vision, Natalia highlights the friendly and supportive atmosphere as one of the company’s greatest strengths. “From day one, I felt welcomed. The teamwork here still surprises me. It’s amazing how willing everyone is to help each other.”
One of her most memorable moments? A company kayaking trip. “It was really challenging for me, but when we finally crossed the finish line, I felt so happy and proud that we accomplished it together.”
Challenging Projects That Inspire Growth
One assignment that stands out for Natalia was managing a complex corporate tax case involving the calculation of the fiscal value of purchasing and selling participations. “It required deep analysis and strong knowledge of Dutch tax law. It was tough, but I learned so much and strengthened my problem-solving skills. It really reinforced my passion for tax-related work.”
The Unique 4-Vision Experience
For Natalia, what makes 4-Vision stand out in the accounting world is the strong sense of community. “There’s a great team spirit here. Plus, I love the opportunity to travel abroad. It adds variety to my work and helps me connect with colleagues in different locations.”
She’s also grateful for the personal growth opportunities. “I’ve improved my English communication skills, honed my planning abilities, and learned to adapt quickly to different challenges.”
A Life Beyond Numbers
When she’s not working, Natalia enjoys a more creative pastime—crocheting. “I love making table napkins, clothes for my son, and small holiday decorations like angels and flowers,” she says. But her hidden talent? Photography. “I love photographing children. They express pure emotions—happiness, joy, or even sadness without holding back. Capturing those moments is really special to me.”
Advice for new accountants
Her advice to new team members? “4-Vision is a great place to build your career. The company really invests in your development and provides so many opportunities to grow.”
And what has life taught her? “During a ski trip, I was terrified to hit the slopes, but I pushed through and ended up loving it. It taught me that if you want something, go for it, focus, be brave, and enjoy the ride!”
